The Spirit of Natergy
We know you are excited for the Nationals! However, why are we calling on you more than we have been in the past? What can you do to represent the spirit of Natergy?

The Approach Behind Natergy!
Logo and Identity Rationale
Baseball: type of sport that the Nationals play; Natergy typeface: bold to represent a determined personality. Nationals Logo: blended in to add a recognizable element that Nats fans would know.
Campaign Rationale
Natergy, inspired by “Natitude,” is a newer campaign meant to appeal to you, the average Nationals fan! It combines the word “energy” – the ability to motivate and be productive – and the nickname “Nat” for Nationals. Natergy is meant to be a determined campaign that motivates the fans to cheer the players on. In the long run, the Nationals can be contenders if they have your back.
What You Can Do?
If you are a fan who really loves the Nationals or are new, here is what you can do to be a part of the Natergy Campaign:

Sing With Energy!
Remember Geraldo Parra’s Baby Shark song? Well, its time for you to participate in a new series of songs when batters are up! Two of many examples below:
Dylan Crews
“…Don’t worry ’bout a thing, cause every little (Crews)… is gonna be alright” – Bob Marley
James Wood
“…And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance…I hope you never lose your sense of (Wood)” – Bob Marley

A Motivational Mascot for Memories!
Yes, we are taking the same energy from the other team. An endorsement from Screech, welcome Uncle Sam to our team! He will motivate you in our Natergy journey! Maybe he will come around to motivate you to cheer the Nats on!

Say Encouraging Words to Players!
When a Nationals player is up to bat, say something encouraging. For example, chant “Wood” or “James…Wood” for James Wood or chant “Natergy for Crews (player name)” when a batter is up.

Post Your Natergy On Social Media
Nationals fans, post your experiences on social media! Here, you can hashtag #natergy, with the logo and shirt, to be featured on our page and motivate the players.
